Introduction
Preschool is the foundation of a child’s educational career. A child is sent to a preschool before he/she joins kindergarten. Young ones are geared up to become a part of the kindergarten. Kindergarten is the education for young ones which is modeled on the structure of formal schooling. Children generally attend kindergarten between the ages of 2 and 6. Preschool and Kindergarten are both educational institutions which provide quality education for the development of the child. Preschool education is important and all children should transition from preschool to kindergarten. But sometimes it gets a little stressful for them.
Preschool teaches and makes them ready for the education received at kindergarten. Preschool and Kindergarten are good as they challenge the young minds as they get motivated and get inspiration to learn. The preschool curriculum is designed within a framework so that the children are ready for the next level of their educational career. If you are sending your preschooler to kindergarten then you know he/she will have the required edge and will never fail in any educational project and exam. In kindergarten children learn to communicate, interact and play with their fellow mates. They are provided various types of preschool supplies with which they are engaged in different types of activities. If the children have attended preschool then they have already gotten over many anxieties and learnt the pre-reading writing and math skills.
Kindergarten has the flexibility and gives the opportunity to parents to go for their job whereas when your child is in a preschool you cannot go for any employment. A preschooler will definitely differ from a child who for the first time is away from home and is attending kindergarten. They will be friendlier and would already have grasped the concept of friendship and sharing. It would be beneficial for the mother and the child if they have attended preschool before joining kindergarten. Preschool and Kindergarten are both important in a child’s career which would eventually help the child to transfer to school education. We should always remember that these are young kids we are talking about and hence lot of love and care is required along with education.
